| Obverse description | Central field features a snow lion in left profile, rendered in stylized Tibetan artistic convention, flanked above and below by Tibetan script legends denoting the regnal cycle and year. The design is encircled by the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism (Ashtamangala), comprising the white parasol, conch shell, treasure vase, victory banner, dharma wheel, pair of golden fish, endless knot, and lotus flower, arranged in a decorative ring around the central motif. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border. |
