Obverse description Youthful bare-headed effigy of Victor Amadeus II facing right, depicted as a draped and armored bust with elaborately curled long hair falling to the shoulder in the baroque court style. The figure wears a cuirass adorned with scale or lamellar decoration over a draped mantle, with a large brooch or clasp visible at the chest. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine engraved detail characteristic of late 17th-century Savoyard coinage. The circular Latin legend surrounds the bust within a milled border.
