| Obverse description | Armored bust of Grand Master Emmanuel de Rohan facing right, wearing plate armor with decorative shoulder pauldrons and a lace cravat, his long hair falling in loose curls over his shoulders. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the late Baroque style, with fine engraving detail on the armor. The circular legend reading F⋆EMMANUEL DE ROHAN M⋆M⋆ surrounds the effigy, abbreviated from Frater Emmanuel de Rohan Magnus Magister. The field is smooth and the coin exhibits a bold, well-centered strike characteristic of the Valletta Mint. |
