Obverse description Central field features the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, depicted with four Asiatic lions atop an abacus bearing a Dharma Chakra (wheel) flanked by a bull and horse in relief. The motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) appears in Devanagari script immediately below the emblem. The denomination '20' is prominently rendered in large numerals at the bottom of the field, with 'RUPEES' inscribed vertically along the right margin and 'भारत' (Bharat) in Devanagari along the left margin, alongside 'INDIA' in Latin script.
