| Obverse description | The state coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus occupies the central field, depicting a sun rising over a globe flanked by wheat sheaves bound with a ribbon in the national colors, with a clover blossom to the left and a flax blossom to the right, and a five-pointed star at the apex. The fineness designation 'Ag 925' and the date '2004' appear in the lower field beneath the arms. The circular legend, rendered in Cyrillic, reads 'РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ' along the upper arc and 'ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ' along the lower arc, separated by decorative dot ornaments. |

| Additional information |
Belarus launched an extensive sports-themed commemorative series in the early 2000s ahead of growing international athletic interest, and sculling — a discipline in which Soviet and post-Soviet nations had long dominated Olympic competition — was a natural inclusion. The National Bank issued these pieces primarily for the collector market, with limited export distribution through European numismatic dealers.
KM#124 is occasionally misattributed in dealer stock to the broader Olympic preview series, but it has no official IOC licensing and carries no Games designation.
