Obverse description A stylized Tree of Life occupies the central field, its broad trunk and exposed root system rendered in selective gold gilding, rising into an expansive canopy adorned with decorative flowers, birds, and foliage executed in a folk-art style. An owl is depicted in a hollow at the center of the trunk, also highlighted in gilt. The circular legend reads 'РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ' along the upper periphery, with the denomination '20 РУБЛЁЎ' to the right and the fineness and date '2023 Ag 925' to the left, all separated by dot stops. The national emblem of Belarus appears at the top of the legend.

Additional information

Belarus has issued an extensive series of silver commemoratives through its National Bank since the early 2000s, many targeting the collector market rather than circulation, and this piece fits squarely within that program. The partial gilding technique — selectively applied to specific design elements during finishing — became a standard production feature across numerous Belarusian issues from the 2010s onward, executed largely through partnerships with foreign minting facilities.
