Reverse description The reverse features a large gold-plated horseshoe at center, depicted upright in the traditional good-luck orientation, its surface contrasting vividly against the mirrored silver field. Elegant acanthus-scroll ornaments in relief flank the lower interior of the horseshoe, adding a decorative baroque quality to the composition. The dark toned outer border frames the central motif and provides strong contrast to the polished elements. The Cyrillic inscription На счастье и удачу (For happiness and good luck) is inscribed in stylized lettering along the lower and right periphery of the field.

Additional information

Transnistria — officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic — remains unrecognized by any United Nations member state, yet its Republican Bank has issued commemorative coinage since the early 1990s, largely targeting the collector market rather than domestic circulation. The "happiness and good luck" series drew on Slavic folk symbolism, part of a broader effort by Tiraspol's government to assert a distinct cultural identity separate from Moldova.

The .925 silver issues from this program were struck in limited quantities, with distribution handled primarily through specialist dealers in Russia and Eastern Europe.
