| Obverse description | Central field features the EurAsEC logo against an intricate geometric Belarusian folk ornament known as Zhytsen, rendered in relief. The coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus appears at the top of the coin, flanked by the circular legend 'РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ' along the upper periphery. The lower legend reads 'ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ', with the fineness mark 'Ag 925' to the left and the year '2010' to the right in the lower field. |

The Eurasian Economic Community was established by treaty in October 2000, grouping Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan into a customs and trade bloc explicitly modeled on early European integration frameworks. Belarus was among the most enthusiastic founding members, a posture driven largely by its deep economic dependence on Russian energy subsidies and preferential trade access. This coin marks the bloc's first decade — by which point Uzbekistan had already suspended its membership and the organization was quietly being restructured toward what would become the Eurasian Economic Union by 2015.
