| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the ornate Ottoman tughra of Sultan Abdulmecid I, rendered in flowing calligraphic script with characteristic vertical strokes (tuğ) rising prominently above the monogram. A decorative floral branch with stylized leaves and berries extends to the right of the tughra. The denomination inscription '٢٠ غرش' (20 Qirsh) appears in Arabic numerals and script below the tughra in the lower field. The coin is bounded by a fine milled inner border and an outer raised rim. |
