Reverse description The central field is occupied by a three-line Arabic inscription reading 'ضرب في مصر' (Struck in Egypt), with the regnal year numeral appearing above and the AH accession year '١٢٩٣' (1293) below, all enclosed within an open wreath of elegant foliate and floral branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Three six-pointed stars are arranged in a triangular formation at the top of the field above the wreath opening. The overall design is symmetrical and calligraphic in character, consistent with Ottoman administrative coinage style.
