Reverse description Poseidon seated left on the prow ornament (aphlaston) of a galley, his nude torso turned slightly forward, holding a Nike or small figure in his outstretched right hand and a trident in his left. The prow of the warship is prominently rendered with multiple oar banks visible below. A Phoenician legend appears in the lower exergual area, identifying the city and dating the issue within the Aradian era.
