Reverse description The denomination numeral '20' is prominently displayed in large, horizontally-lined figures at the center of a scalloped cartouche with a rope-style outer border. The legend 'DEUTSCHES REICH' curves along the upper portion of the scalloped frame, with the date '1886' following to the right. The word 'PFENNIG' appears in the lower segment of the cartouche, flanked by raised dot ornaments on each side. The design is crisp and boldly executed, consistent with the trial-strike nature of this pattern issue.
