| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a continuous pearl border encircling the entire face. An inner beaded circle frames the large numeral '20' prominently displayed in the center field. The surrounding legend, reading between the pearl rim and the inner beaded border, identifies the issuing merchant house and locality: ANNA ROTH WALDBEEREN & PILZE GROSSHANDLUNG, with REGEN BAYER WALD separated by star ornaments. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, consistent with German private emergency coinage of the early 1920s. |
