| Obverse description | Left-facing truncated bust of Benito Juárez occupies the central field, rendered in low relief with fine detail on the facial features and collar. The circumferential legend ESTADO L. Y S. DE OAXACA arcs around the upper portion of the coin, flanked on either side at the base by a small five-pointed star. The date 1915 appears in the lower field beneath the bust. The entire design is bordered by a decorative inner ring of raised crescent-shaped or lunette ornaments, lending a distinctive regional character to the issue. |
