Reverse description Printed entirely in brown-orange on a pale ground, the reverse centres on the oval Arms of the Philippine Islands — an eagle surmounting a quartered shield — set within an elaborate guilloche medallion and flanked by symmetrical sprays of tropical leaves and blossoms. The denomination numeral 20 occupies each corner within scroll cartouches, and the legend TWENTY SILVER PESOS runs in large serif capitals along the lower border.
