Obverse description A modified version of the Cuban coat of arms occupies the central field, distinguished from the official arms by the substitution of two flags on each side in place of the customary oak branch and laurel wreath. The encircling legend bears the country name 'REPUBLICA DE CUBA' at the top, the face value '20 PESOS' at the bottom, and the weight and fineness designations '26 G.' and 'AR. 0.925' on the sides, confirming the silver composition of this pattern strike.
