| Obverse description | The right half of the obverse is occupied by the provincial coat of arms of Corrientes, printed in dark red intaglio, with the Inca sun at crest, two clasped hands at centre, and olive and palm branch laurels flanking the shield. To the left, a yellow-ochre guilloche underprint outline map of the Province of Corrientes fills the central field, overlaid with the denomination numeral '20' and the legend 'VEINTE PESOS' in large letterpress at left. Two facsimile signatures appear below, attributed respectively to the Ministro de Hacienda y Finanzas and the Interventor Federal de la Provincia de Corrientes, with emission date 01/08/2000 and maturity date 31/01/2002 printed in the central panel. |
