| Obverse description | Provisional issue consisting of an unissued 50 Fillér base note (P-101) overprinted in red with a three-line Hungarian text across the upper portion declaring withdrawal terms, with the denomination '20 PENGŐ' printed in red below the central bank title. The underlying grey intaglio design retains the Hungarian coat of arms at left and a circular vignette with a female portrait at right, with the issuer name 'MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK' in the centre and the date 'BUDAPEST, 1938.
