| Obverse description | The obverse bears the tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Mehmed V Reşad prominently in the center, enclosed within a dotted inner circle. Flanking the tughra are floral and foliate ornamental sprigs on either side. The Arabic legend reading 'Freedom, Equality, Justice' (حرية مساواة عدالة) is arranged around the upper periphery, punctuated by six-pointed stars. The regnal year '7' (٧), denoting the seventh year of Mehmed V's reign, appears below the tughra within the inner circle. |
