| Reverse description | Three lines of Arabic inscription occupy the central field, reading 'ضرب في مصر' (Struck in Egypt), with the regnal year indicator numeral appearing above and the Hijri base year '١٢٧٧' (1277 AH) prominently displayed in the lower field. The layout is arranged in horizontal registers in the traditional Ottoman mint style. The entire design is enclosed within a finely toothed milled border consistent with the obverse. |
