| Obverse description | The obverse features multiple lines of Arabic script arranged within the central field, flanked on either side by upward-sweeping laurel branches that unite at the base in a small foliate motif. The legend reads the royal title and name of Emir Habibullah Kalakani, proclaiming him 'Servant of the Religion of the Messenger of Allah,' with the Hijri date 1347 inscribed at the foot of the text. Two six-pointed stars are positioned in the upper left and upper right of the field, serving as decorative punctuation. The overall composition is text-centric, with the inscriptions dominating the design in a bold, raised Naskh-style Arabic script. The coin exhibits a plain border with no additional ornamentation beyond the flanking branches. |
