Reverse description The reverse displays the mark of value 'K' (denoting 20 Nummi) flanked by the Carthage mint signature 'C' and 'T' (Carthago), rendered in large, bold characters occupying most of the field. Pellets appear either above or below the 'CT' monogram depending on the emission: pellets below indicate the earlier issue (BCV#1060, 643-647) and pellets above the later issue (BCV#1059, 647-659). The field is otherwise plain, with no exergual line, consistent with the simplified reverse design of Carthaginian provincial bronze coinage of this period. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, typical of this denomination.
