Reverse description Central circular hole around which the denomination is expressed in three scripts: the numeral 20 and the legend MILS in Latin script appear at the upper right, the Hebrew מיל‎ to the left, and the Arabic ٢٠ مِل‎ at the base, all radiating around the central perforation. The design is plain and unadorned, with a milled border encircling the rim. The bold, widely-spaced lettering is characteristic of the British Mandate Palestine coinage series.
