| Obverse description | Printed in black over a polychrome underprint using intaglio and lithographic techniques, the obverse centres on a classical female bust representing the Republic and Liberty, rendered in the allegorical tradition associated with Marianne, set within an ornate vignette. The denomination numeral 20 appears in guilloche panels flanking the central portrait on both sides. The full statutory legend and issuing authority inscription are arranged across the upper and lower registers of the note. |
