| Reverse description | The central vignette presents stylised stick figures alongside a plant, tree, and mountain landscape, with an outline map of Mozambique positioned to one side of the design. A bird perched on a branch serves as the optical register device, echoing the motif on the obverse. Portuguese denomination inscriptions and secondary text complete the composition. |

Mozambique's switch to polymer for its lower denominations has been incremental, and this 2024 issue continues that transition. De La Rue supplied the polymer substrate — Mozambique has no domestic security printing capacity and has relied on foreign contractors across multiple series.
Pick 155 is recent enough that secondary market data on varieties or errors remains thin. The optical register device — a window element visible from both sides in alignment — is a basic polymer security feature, present here in its simplest implementation rather than the more elaborate RAPID or transparent window formats used on higher-value notes in other African series.
