Obverse description Bare-headed, bearded effigy of Adolf Georg, Fürst zu Schaumburg-Lippe, in high-relief left-facing profile, with short hair and a full curled beard rendered in fine detail. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The circular legend reads ADOLF GEORG FÜRST Z. SCHAUMBURG-LIPPE, separated from the effigy by a raised inner border. The mint mark B appears at the bottom of the field beneath the bust truncation. The entire design is framed by a beaded outer border.
