| Obverse description | Printed in blue-grey and gold on cream paper with an overall fine diamond-pattern underprint, the obverse centres on a Baroque-style cartouche bearing the denomination "Zwanzig Mark" in bold Fraktur script over a gold guilloche underprint, enclosed within an ornate scalloped border with acanthus scrollwork. Oval medallions at each upper corner contain seated allegorical figures, while circular denomination counters reading "20 Mark" occupy the lower corners. Two facsimile signatures of the Oberbürgermeister and Stadtrat appear above the issuing authority legend, with a plain oval watermark window positioned at lower centre. |
