| Obverse description | Notgeld issue printed in black and red on pale green guilloche underprint, with a fine ornamental border of repeated floral and geometric motifs at the perimeter. The denomination "Zwanzig Mark" is rendered in large decorative red Fraktur script across the centre, above the issue date "Traunstein, 20. April 1919" and the issuing authority "Stadtgemeinde Traunstein". A circular official municipal stamp in violet occupies the lower centre, flanked by manuscript signatures of the Bürgermeister, Stadtkämmerer, and Finanzreferat, with a serial number in the upper right corner and repeated underprint numerals "20 M" in the background. |
