| Obverse description | Pink and cream Notgeld voucher with an ornate foliate border underprint in rose-pink surrounding a central framed panel. The heading 'Distrikt Berchtesgaden' appears in Gothic letterpress script on a pink banner across the top, with large numeral '20' corner indicators. Within the frame, the denomination is stated in two lines — 'Gutschein über' above and 'Zwanzig Mark' in large decorative Fraktur script — followed by the place and date 'Berchtesgaden, 29. April 1919.' and the issuing authority 'Distrikt Berchtesgaden.'
