Thomas De La Rue has printed Turkmenistan's manat series since the currency's reintroduction in 2009, when the Central Bank redenominated at 5,000 old manat to 1 new manat — a move that erased the inflationary damage accumulated since independence. The 2009 series was a clean break, and De La Rue supplied the full set from London under what was effectively a turnkey contract for a country with no domestic security printing capacity.
Pick 25 is among the more quietly circulated denominations in the series, overshadowed in collector interest by the higher values.
