To the right of the figures stands the crowned Savoy coat of arms adorned with the Collare dell'Annunziata. In the left field, the denomination L. 20 and the date in Roman numerals MCMIII are inscribed. The legend REGNO D'ITALIA arcs along the upper border, and the maker's mark JOHNSON & INC. appears in the lower field or exergue.
