Obverse description Bare-headed bust of King Victor Emmanuel III facing right, wearing a military steel helmet (Adrian helmet), with a mustache and military collar visible. The legend VITT·EM·III·RE· arcs along the upper left rim. The engraver's signature G. ROMAGNOLI and the name A. MOTTI INC. appear vertically along the right field near the truncation. A small star is placed at the lower left of the field. The portrait is rendered in high relief with strong, naturalistic modeling characteristic of early 20th-century Italian medallic art.

Reverse description The reverse features a boldly rendered lion's head in profile, emerging from behind a stylized fasces composed of bundled rods, symbolizing Fascist Italy. The word ITALIA appears prominently along the upper rim. To the left of the fasces, the Roman numeral dates MCMXVIII (1918) and MCMXXVIII (1928) flank the top and bottom, with the denomination L. 20 and mint mark R to the lower left, and the Fascist year A·VI below. To the right, a multi-line inscription carries the Mussolinian motto: MEGLIO·VIVERE·VN·GIORNO·DA·LEONE·CHE·CENTO·ANNI·DA·PECO-RA~, commemorating the tenth anniversary of Italy's victory in World War I.
