| Reverse description | A boldly modeled adult bird, depicted in high relief, leans forward from the upper right to feed a clutch of open-beaked nestlings gathered in a nest of twigs at center. The composition, evocative of the FAO's themes of nourishment and food security, fills nearly the entire field with naturalistic sculptural detail. The denomination L 20 is inscribed in large characters along the lower field. The engravers' names BINO BINI and MONASSI appear incuse in very small lettering along the lower rim, and the FAO legend appears on the reverse as part of the overall commemorative design. |
