| Reverse description | Central field bears a large, finely detailed portrait bust of Sultan Yıldırım Bayezid I facing slightly right, wearing an elaborate Ottoman kavuk (turban) with distinctive pleated ridges. A stylised tulip motif appears to the right of the bust, serving as an Ottoman dynastic symbol. The upper legend along the periphery reads OSMANLI PADİŞAHLARI (Ottoman Sultans), while the lower arc carries the regnal dates 1360–1403 and the name YILDIRIM BAYEZİD, all rendered in incuse Latin lettering against the polished field. |

| Additional information |
Yıldırım ("Thunderbolt") Bayezid ruled the Ottoman sultanate from 1389 until his catastrophic defeat at the Battle of Ankara in 1402, where Timur's forces routed the Ottoman army and took Bayezid prisoner — the only Ottoman sultan ever captured alive by an enemy. He died in Timurid captivity months later, triggering an eleven-year interregnum that nearly dissolved the empire entirely.
