| Obverse description | The central field features a high-relief reproduction of a historical Karamanid principality coin, displaying elaborate Arabic calligraphic inscriptions within a lobed, beaded cartouche reminiscent of medieval Anatolian coinage design. The stylized thuluth script fills the field with the Islamic profession of faith and the ruler's name, with the date rendered in abjad numerals at the base. A Turkish crescent-and-star emblem appears at the top of the outer legend ring. The bilingual peripheral legend, reading in Latin script, encircles the central medallion, with the denomination and date inscribed along the lower rim. |
