Obverse description Central field features a stylized modernist relief composition depicting a mass of intertwined soldiers and rifles surging upward from a rectangular base, evoking the chaos and momentum of infantry assault during the First World War. Below the central motif, the date 2015 is inscribed alongside a small mint mark. A rising or sinking warship is suggested in relief at the lower right of the composition. The peripheral legend, separated from the field by a raised rim, reads TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ to the left and REPUBLIC OF TURKEY to the right, with the Turkish crescent and star emblem at the top. The denomination 20 Türk Lirası appears at the base, flanked by dots.
