| Reverse description | A perspective view of the interior of the Eşrefoğlu Mosque in Beyşehir is depicted in fine relief, showcasing the celebrated forest of wooden columns receding toward the mihrab at the far end, with the elaborately carved wooden minber visible in the center background. The pointed horseshoe arch of the mosque's main portal frames the entire interior scene, its jambs and archivolt richly ornamented with interlacing floral and geometric relief carving characteristic of Anatolian Seljuk craftsmanship. The surrounding field is bordered by a decorative band of repeating floral scroll motifs following the coin's circumference. The legend 'BEYŞEHİR' appears above and 'EŞREFOĞLU CAMİSİ' below in the lower portion of the field. |
