Obverse description Central field depicts the Ebul Manuçehr Mosque (Menüçehr Camii) of Ani, Kars, rendered in detailed architectural relief. A Turkish crescent and star motif appears above the building in the upper field. The denomination '20 Türk Lirası' is inscribed below the central device. A continuous bilingual legend surrounds the design, reading 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ REPUBLIC OF TURKEY' along the upper periphery and 'KARS ANİ ŞEHRİ Ebul Manuçehr Camii' in the lower field, all in Latin script.
