| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a detailed three-quarter perspective view of the original Grand National Assembly building in Ankara, rendered in fine frosted relief against a mirror-polished field. The historic stone structure, with its arched windows, entrance gate, perimeter wall, and flagpole bearing the Turkish flag, is faithfully reproduced. Eleven five-pointed stars are arranged in an arc around the upper periphery of the field. At the lower centre, a stylised infinity-loop ornamental device flanked by the founding year '1920' to the left and the centennial year '2020' to the right is inscribed, with the word 'NİSAN' (April) below, recalling the assembly's inaugural session of 23 April 1920. |
