Reverse description The denomination numeral 20 is prominently displayed in the upper field in bold relief, with the Greek legend ΛΕΠΤΑ (Lepta) directly beneath it. An olive branch bearing several ripe olives extends diagonally across the lower portion of the field from lower left to centre right, its elongated leaves rendered in fine detail. The design, engraved by N. Perantinos, references the classical Greek tradition of honouring the olive as a symbol of peace and prosperity. The field is otherwise plain and unadorned.
