The Greek legend ΚΡΗΤΙΚΗ ΠΟΛΙΤΕΙΑ (State of Crete) curves along the upper periphery, while the engraver's signature A. BORREL appears beneath the crown's base band. The date 1900 is inscribed in large numerals at the lower field. The entire design is encircled by a beaded border. |
