| Obverse description | Intaglio vignette at left centre of two facing portrait busts — Emperor Trajan and the Dacian king Decebal — set within a circular guilloche medallion, with a decorative spray of oak leaves and agricultural implements below. The right portion of the note carries an ornate wreath-framed circular serial number panel with the large numeral denomination at upper right. Two manuscript facsimile signatures appear in the centre field beneath the issuer inscriptions. The design is printed in olive-green and dark brown on a pale green guilloche underprint. |
