Obverse description Bare-headed left-facing effigy of the young King Mihai I of Romania, rendered in fine relief with naturalistic detail befitting a child sovereign. The circular legend reads MIHAI I · REGELE · ROMÂNIEI · in Latin script, separated by small star-shaped stops, running along the upper periphery. The date 1930, flanked by decorative star stops, appears in the lower field beneath the portrait. An outer toothed border (grenetis) frames the entire design.
