| Reverse description | Central device comprises the royal crowned cypher of Carol II — two interlaced letter C's surmounted by the Romanian royal crown — set against a radiant sunburst emanating from the centre of the field. The cypher is encircled by a decorative wreath of floral branches adorned with roses, tied at the base with a ribbon cartouche bearing the motto NIL SINE DEO. The denomination 20 LEI appears in the lower exergue beneath the cartouche. The commemorative legend ROMANIA arcs across the top, with the dates 8 IUNIE 1930 on the left and 8 IUNIE 1940 on the right, recording the tenth anniversary of Carol II's accession to the throne. |
