Obverse description Helmeted head of Minerva facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet with raised cheekpieces. The bust is rendered in a bold, archaic Italic style characteristic of Central Italian bronze coinage of the mid-Republic period. The helmet crest and neckguard are clearly delineated, and the facial features are rendered with strong relief against a flat field.
