| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Margrethe II, wearing a pearl necklace, engraved in a refined, naturalistic style by Mogens Møller. The effigy occupies the central field within a raised inner border. The circular legend reads MARGRETHE II • DANMARKS DRONNING around the upper periphery, while the date 2003 appears in the lower exergue. The portrait reflects the monarch's fourth coinage effigy, characterised by a mature, detailed rendering of her features and crown. |

A smaller adjacent tower is visible to the left of the composition. The legend BØRSEN arcs along the left periphery and 20 KRONER along the right, both in raised Latin capitals. The design, executed by Karin Lorentzen, celebrates one of Copenhagen's most distinctive architectural landmarks. |
