| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Margrethe II, depicted as a mature bust wearing a jewelled crown, rendered in high relief against a flat field. The portrait, representing the fourth effigy of the queen used on Danish coinage, is engraved in a refined, naturalistic style by M. Møller. The circular legend reads MARGRETHE II DANMARKS DRONNING, disposed around the upper and lower periphery, separated by a small ornamental device. The mint year appears in the lower field beneath the portrait. |
