| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of Queen Margrethe II facing right, wearing a pearl necklace and pearl-adorned attire, rendered in high relief within a raised inner circle. The circumferential legend reads 'MARGRETHE II' to the upper left, separated by a small heart device, and 'DANMARKS DRONNING' to the upper right. The date appears at the bottom of the field, flanked by the mint master's initials 'LG' and engraver's initials 'JP' along with the mint mark. The portrait is modelled in a naturalistic style engraved by Mogens Møller. |
