| Additional information |
Louise Eleonore of Hohenlohe-Langenburg served as regent of Saxe-Meiningen from 1803 until her son Bernhard II came of age, governing a duchy that had been administratively restructured under Napoleonic pressure and formally absorbed into the Confederation of the Rhine in 1806. Coinage issued under her regency is relatively scarce — Saxe-Meiningen was a small state with correspondingly limited mint output, and the 1812 date falls near the end of her regency period.
