| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Joseph II facing right, with a lion-head pauldron on the shoulder armor. The mint mark appears below the truncation of the bust. A continuous Latin legend commences at approximately one o'clock and encircles the effigy. The portrait is rendered in the refined neoclassical style typical of late 18th-century Habsburg coinage. |
